A WEEK WITHOUT SUGAR
So I gave up sugar and survived the first week!! Yay!! It really was not that hard, believe it or not. Why did I do this? Sugar is the food source of yeast, bacteria, and cancer...What??
My personal goal is to achieve optimal health so I have been studying and researching the negative effects of sugar on weight, hormones, anxiety and the immune system from which I realized that you can have delicious meals without feeling like you're sacrificing taste. I want to feed my body not feed disease. I still eat nutritious fruits and starchy veggies that are low on the glycemic index so I am not eliminating healthy food groups.
So what are my results???
Well, I can tell you my energy level is higher than I ever expected with no dips throughout the day and my mood remains happy and peaceful. My mind is super clear, which allows me to work efficiently and have time to spare. I am dominating my exercise routines and even after working out my energy level remains high.
Eliminating sugar has deepened my prayer and meditation, making me more in touch with spirituality because my mind and body is so clean, clear, and nourished - just how it was made to be. I try to test new lifestyle adjustments so that I can communicate the benefits to my clients effectively and efficiently.
